For the road registerable motorcycles where "Ride Away" pricing is stated please note the following: This price is comprised of the Manufacturer's Recommended List Price for a private buyer residing in the capital city of your State, 12 months registration, 12 months compulsory third party insurance, stamp duty, administration charges, and a recommended dealer delivery fee. Please confirm pricing with your preferred Honda Dealer as final on-road costs may vary according to your individual circumstances.

For the off road motorcycles, farm two wheel motorcycles, and ATVs (non road registerable) where "Ready To Ride" pricing is stated please note the following: This is comprised of the Manufacturer's Recommended List Price and recommended dealer delivery fee.

Manufacturers Recommended List Price, "Ready To Ride" and "Ride Away" pricing is subject to change without notice.

If you purchase any goods or services which are offered on this website the following applies to online payments and refunds:-

  • Honda MPE uses a third party payment gateway (the "gateway"), currently provided by our bank, to process payments and refunds.
  • the instructions in the offer of the goods or services will lead you to the gateway.
  • currently the gateway only accepts payments by credit card or debit card.
  • online purchases are subject to a surcharge and will be applied to the total price at the gateway
  • the gateway retains all confidential financial information (such as card details) in a secure environment subject to its own terms and conditions, and the gateway only provides to Honda MPE the fact of payment and the identity of the person who has paid.
  • any refund which has to be made will be made through the gateway as a credit to the card from which the original payment was made.

7. RETURNS

Process

Please download the 'Returns' document located at Honda MPE Merchandise Website and fill out the details in the form and send it to merchandise@hondampe.com.au. Honda MPE will review the request and will respond to the customer with-in 2 working days from the request application date. If the request is approved the customer must return the goods to Honda MPE within 2 weeks from the approval date along with original invoice. We recommend sending returns via registered post as we do not accept responsibility for lost items.

Conditions

If in the unlikely circumstance that your item(s) is faulty or not fit for intended use and has been approved by Honda MPE, the customer will be sent a return connote with information on how to send the item(s) back. The customer will not have to pay for any returns if Honda MPE is at fault. Once the item(s) is back at Honda MPE, it will be assessed and if approved, a direct replacement will be issued. Any items returned outside the specific time frame listed above will be the responsibility of the customer to retrieve the goods. Honda MPE will not pay to return these items to you.

If the return request is rejected the items will be sent to the customers' local dealer or returned via registered post once postage is again paid for.

Honda MPE does not take responsibility for damage occurred by courier service

Incorrect Size

In order to eliminate as many problems through the online process we strongly recommend that you measure yourself in accordance to our online sizing charts. Please note that there are sizing charts for different ranges and that our sizing may differ to the measurements you are currently used to. If you do require a product to be swapped for size change, fill out the returns form correctly stating the reason for return. It is of the customer's responsibility to pay for freight back to Honda if the item(s) are of incorrect size. No refund will be given for the freight back to Honda.

To be eligible for return the item must be:

  • In original undamaged packaging
  • Undamaged in any way shape or form
  • Complete with original tags

8. HONDA MARINE 7 YEAR DOMESTIC AND 3 YEAR COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

*Honda is offering a 5 + 2 = 7 years domestic and 1 + 2 = 3 years commercial warranty. The additional 2 years are based on the following conditions: The Outboard must either be sold and set up by an authorised Honda Marine dealer or be sold by an authorised sales agent for Honda Marine Australia and set up in accordance with the instructions in the Product Registration & Set-up Guide (if applicable), in conjunction with the Owner’s Manual. The Outboard must be serviced for the entire warranty period by an authorised Honda Marine dealer, in line with the recommended service schedule, using genuine Honda parts and lubricants.

9. INVOICE PAYMENT TERMS

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS IS AN EXTRACT ONLY AND DOES NOT CONTAIN ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT APPLY TO THE SALE OF GOODS SPECIFIED IN THIS INVOICE. THE FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS OUTLINED ON THE FRONT OF THIS INVOICE APPLY.

1. TITLE AND RISK

  1. Title to each good sold by Honda under this invoice (Good) will pass to the Purchaser only when the full price is paid and all other sums payable by the Purchaser to Honda in respect of the Good and any other goods sold by Honda to the Purchaser are paid in full. If the Purchaser pays by cheque, payment will be taken not to have been made until the cheque is honoured.
  2. Until title in a Good passes to the Purchaser in accordance with clause 1.1, the Purchaser shall have no ownership or property rights in a Good and holds a Good as a fiduciary and mere bailee for Honda and may not mortgage, encumber or dispose of it except for sales in the ordinary course of business. The Purchaser shall be principal in any such contract of sale.
  3. The risk with respect to each Good passes to the Purchaser upon delivery of that Good to the Purchaser or its agents. The Purchaser must, at its cost, insure the Goods in the name of the Purchaser and Honda with a reputable insurer covering loss or damage to the Goods for their full replaceable value until such time as title passes to the Purchaser.
  4. Until title in a Good passes to the Purchaser in accordance with clause 1.1, the Purchaser shall ensure that the Product remains clearly identifiable and separately stored and must not transform the Good or incorporate the Good into other goods in such a way as to prevent identification or otherwise interfere with Honda's title in the Good.
  5. If the Purchaser sells or disposes of a Good to its customer before title in the Good has passed to the Purchaser, the Purchaser must:
    1. hold the proceeds of sale in trust for Honda and shall not mix any of the proceeds of sale with any other funds but shall ensure that all receipts are kept separate and identifiable; and
    2. where requested by Honda, subrogate to Honda its rights against the customer in respect of the sale of the Good.
  6. The Purchaser's right to sell or dispose of the Good to a customer in the ordinary course of business shall immediately terminate upon the happening of any of the following events:
    1. if the Purchaser being an individual commits an act of bankruptcy or has a controller or trustee appointed in respect of the purchaser"s estate or any of the Purchaser's property or assets;
    2. if the Purchaser being a company passes a resolution for its winding up or enters into liquidation or has an application for winding up filed against it;
    3. if a receiver, receiver and manager, controller or administrator is appointed over any part of the property or assets of the Purchaser;
    4. if any distress or execution is levied upon or against any of the Purchaser's assets;
    5. if the Purchaser experiences any analogous event having substantially similar effect to any of the events specified above; or
    6. if Honda gives notice to the Purchaser prohibiting the Purchaser from selling or disposing of the Good whether in the ordinary course of the Purchaser's business or otherwise.

2. PRODUCT WARRANTIES

  1. Honda sells Goods to the Purchaser, and the Purchaser shall sell the Goods to its customers, on the basis of the Honda Warranty and any other warranties prescribed by law.
  2. Except as otherwise required by law, the benefits conferred by the Honda Warranty are in lieu of all other warranties, obligations or liabilities to the Purchaser or its customers on the part of Honda, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantable quality or fitness for purpose, and all such warranties, obligations and liabilities on the part of Honda are excluded. Where so permitted the liability of Honda for a breach of a warranty or condition that cannot by law be excluded is imited at Honda's option to the repair or replacement of the relevant Goods, the supply of goods equivalent to the Goods, or the cost of repairing or replacing the Goods or acquiring goods equivalent to the Goods.
  3. The Purchaser must not assume or authorise any other person to assume for the Purchaser or for Honda any warranty, obligation or liability in addition to those specified in clauses 2.1 and 2.2 and if it does so shall indemnify Honda in respect thereof.

3. INTERPRETATION AND INCONSISTENCY

  1. In this invoice, "Purchaser" means a dealer, franchisee or OEM Purchaser as the context requires.
  2. If any inconsistency arises between these terms and the full terms and conditions which apply to the relevant Purchaser, the full terms and conditions prevail to the extent of the inconsistency."
