The Private Lessons are conducted over a 1 hour session providing riders with one-on-one, personalised time with one of HART’s experienced instructors. These lessons are tailored to your specific requirements, whether it’s your first experience riding a motorcycle, you wish to sharpen your skills after a period or want to build your confidence on a new bike before attempting one of HART’s Courses.
On the day
This course is conducted on a training range and/or HART’s private road circuit. We can concentrate on particular areas of your riding, e.g. cornering, braking, hill starts or slow control or assist you in converting from an automatic to a manual motorcycle.
A motorcycle can be hired at an additional cost

There are no requirements for this lesson.
Cancelling or changing bookings
Five working days’ notice is required to change all bookings, and a 10% administration fee will apply with no refunds available for the following situations
Lateness in attending the course
Proof of identity issues
Delays caused by traffic or motor vehicle incidents
Bad weather conditions
Failure to attend your course or remedial lesson
Incorrect attire (long pants, long sleeves & closed in shoes required)
What to bring
Photo proof of your identity
You must wear full skin coverage clothing. No shorts, three-quarter pants, torn or ripped jeans, or short sleeved shirts will be allowed
You should wear jeans, or other full-length sturdy pants
Boots or sturdy shoes and your ankles must be covered
A sturdy long sleeved shirt or jacket. Consider the weather conditions, as a thick jacket may not be suitable on a hot day
A hat and sunglasses or eye protection
In the case of wet weather, please bring wet weather gear
If I’m not confident enough to bring my own bike can I use one of yours?
Yes you can. The use of a bike, helmet and gloves is included in the price.
What happens if it is raining on the day?
If there is an extreme weather condition we will make a call on the day otherwise HART conducts training come rain or shine and you will be able to practise your skills on a wet road.
Can I book multiple sessions in one go?
You can but HART recommend booking one session at a time so you can practise on the road between sessions.
