NSW RoadTech 1 - Confidence and Riding Skills

The course aims to develop the skills learned on the Pre-Learner Course and take you to the next level through coaching on our private road-based circuit. It will help develop confidence in cornering, hill starts, braking and Roadcraft (Observation, Slow Down/Setup & Buffer)

The course is conducted on our private road circuit with a maximum of six attendees per instructor, providing the perfect environment for individual feedback. The aim is to support each participant to help them build the required skills they need to tackle the roads with more confidence.

Our Instructors will teach you to:

• Corner with confidence and control
• Improve your braking techniques
• Control the motorcycle in a variety of situations including an inclined intersection
• Practise manoeuvring your bike at low speeds
• Travel at realistic road speeds around our private road circuit

The use of our training bike, helmet and gloves are included free of charge in the course. Although HART recommend bringing your own motorcycle, if possible, approved helmet, gloves and eye protection.

Five working days’ notice is required to change all bookings, and a 10% administration fee will apply with no refunds available for the following situations

• Lateness in attending the course
• Proof of identity issues
• Delays caused by traffic or motor vehicle incidents
• Bad weather conditions
• Failure to attend your course or remedial lesson
• Incorrect attire (long pants, long sleeves & closed in shoes required)
