Defensive Driver Training Corporate

HART’s Corporate Defensive driving courses are conducted by fully accredited instructors that have many years of driver training experience at all levels – from learner to advanced.

All HART instructors are Transport for NSW licenced Driving instructors that hold a Certificate IV in Driving Instruction together with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Conducted on HART’s 2km private course the following are some of things that are covered in this course are: Vision as the cornerstone of all driving.

• Hazards, distractions & risk
• Dealing with attitudes and awareness
• Developing a culture of pre-planning
• Occupant safety – correct set-up of cabin
• Vehicle blind spots
• Modern motor vehicle technology vs the old cars that Mum & Dad learned to drive in
• Tyre maintenance and correct pressures
• Reaction time and braking
• Safe following distance, i.e. 3 second gap
• Emergency braking activities – dry, wet and loose surface
• Braking to a point
• Driving on unsealed roads
• Driving on country roads
• Road positioning, observation & steering.

A Drivers Learners Permit or Driver’s Licence

Five working days’ notice is required to change all bookings, and a 10% administration fee will apply with no refunds available for the following situations

• Lateness in attending the course
• Proof of identity issues
• Delays caused by traffic or motor vehicle incidents
• Bad weather conditions
• Failure to attend your course or remedial lesson
