HART

The Advanced I course is structured to enhance and refine the skills of a licensed rider who is confident and continually practising their riding skills (for confident riders). This is a progressive course in the sense that a student must first complete Advanced I to be eligible for the Advanced II course.

INTRODUCTION

• The Advanced I course is held over one full day, riders meeting at HART 03 9270 1377 Somerton with the training conducted at an offsite venue.
• This course is structured to enhance and refine your existing skills of an already confident and practiced rider currently riding a larger capacity motorcycle on a regular basis.

COURSE SPECIFICS

• All courses address practical motorcycling skills such as straight line braking, corner braking, counter steering or swerving, throttle control, slow speed riding and exercises which combine different skills within the one exercise.
• Other components such as a slalom course, which aims to improve cornering lines eye direction and riding posture are included in these fun and progressive courses.
• All of the HART higher level rider training courses are designed to improve your confidence and safety for use everyday as a motorcyclist on the road.
• As with all HART courses, students must wear full coverage clothing whilst riding - without exception.
• Students are requested to provide their own helmet, gloves, boots and protective jacket and pants for these courses.

INCLUSIONS

• Use of a Honda CB250, CB400 or a CB600 Hornet

OPERATING HOURS

• HART centres operate year round with courses beginning at 8:30am and finishing at 4:00pm.
