Honda Australia Rider Training would like to assist you in improving ATV safety through rider awareness and training.

INTRODUCTION

• HART currently delivers the Nationally Recognised Course RTE2308A Operate the Ride On Vehicle, a six hour course, which aims to provide ATV riders with the knowledge and skills to be able to ride an all terrain vehicle in a safe and responsible manner using correct techniques to perform all normal manoeuvres.
• HART is a leading rider training organisation, with over 20,000 riders trained throughout Australia annually.
• Every employer has a duty of care towards the safety of their staff, using a quad bike in a work situation is no exception. HART offers this training course which covers employers Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities in regards to: • “providing employees with information, instruction, training or supervision needed for them to work safely and without risk to their health”. (An extract from OH&S Act 2004).

AVAILABILITY AND LOCATION

• HART offers this course in Northern and Eastern metropolitan Melbourne and special arrangements can be made for group of four or more to be trained on your property provided certain conditions are met. COURSE SPECIFICS

• The course provides for the development and assessment of the knowledge, skills and attitudes of people wishing to ride ATV's in a correct, safe and responsible manner for recreation or business purposes in a wide range of off road environments.
• The course is conducted over one day with approximately 6 hours of instruction, assessment.

INCLUSIONS

• All students must have their own ATVs to ride and be 16 years of age and over.

OPERATING HOURS

• HART centres operate year round with courses beginning at 8:30am and finishing at 3:00pm
